Chivas Whisky Pour Machine
Our client gave us a simple brief - the most complicated whisky pour machine ever made!
It’s fabricated using actual distillery parts, and lots of brass, oak and copper to match their brand palette.
It features several lifts, a multi-ball section, a Galton board giving a model of standard distribution, and many hundreds of hours of love.
Mechanical Mixologist
London
Working with Rogue projects the idea to create a mechanical mixologist which we could bring to life was an exciting opportunity. The mixologist is a combination of processes which automates the pouring of the perfect Negroni. The project was installed in Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration in Covent Garden, London.
The machine automatically moves an ice cube and glass through a range of motions which then rotates a wheel of ingredients in order to pour the user a Negroni cocktail.

Mechanical Chocolatier
We were tasked with creating a chocolate themed Rube Goldberg machine, so we looked at the world of the artisan Chocolatier, and thought about how chocolate flows.
This machine takes inspiration from the Chocolatiers counter, and process bars of chocolate into a fine grated powder for maximum flavour when tasting.
Featuring 300 chrome steel bearings, running around two lifts and several different mechanisms, it creates a mechanical world of sounds, movements and all set on a chocolate base.
The machine was installed in the Harbour City mall in Hong Kong where it stayed for a month during the chocolate festival.

Matching Pairs
Graphic drums display illustrations which users must spin to align in order to illuminate the correct answer.

Pharmacy
The pharmacy is an interactive which lights up to give visitors information about the human anatomy. Different parts light up when a draw is opened or an object is moved.

At North Herts Museum, we built an interactive doll's house with an internal Pepper's Ghost illusion playing different historical scenes

Louboutin Bon Marche Window Display

fabricate a new series of more complex mechanisms. They needed to run for several weeks,
and were all fully mechanical - no programmed units…
Louboutin Selfridges Window display
London
We were commissioned to produce a series of window display mechanisms as part of Christian Louboutin's 20th Anniversary Pop-up store in Selfridges.
Featuring a 5m diameter Zoetrope, and various mechanisms of kicking legs, we installed these for a 5 week period under the direction of the design team at Studio Xag.
Baileys Coffee Bar
London
We were delighted to to install this great looking coffee bar for Baileys at the London Coffee Festival, housed in the Truman Brewery by Brick Lane. The structure was cut on our CNC machine and built in our workshop. The bar featured an interactive wheel of fortune style ‘spin a baileys’ wheel, where participants were able to spin in order to have a chance at trying a baileys inspired coffee.
